📅 Project Duration: February 2015
🏢 Company: Aris Rayaneh Arak
🎯 Role: Database Optimization Specialist

Project Overview

This project focused on enhancing the performance of the database powering the Inventory and Asset Management System of Aris Rayaneh Company. Due to inefficient queries, redundant indexes, and unoptimized database structures, the system was experiencing slow performance and resource bottlenecks.

Through an extensive database performance tuning process, I successfully optimized query execution, indexing, and data structure efficiency, achieving up to a 90% increase in overall system performance.

Key Improvements & Optimizations

✅ Query Optimization & Performance Tuning – Rewrote inefficient stored procedures and queries to minimize execution time.
✅ Indexing Enhancements – Removed redundant indexes and implemented new indexing strategies for faster data retrieval.
✅ Execution Plan Optimization – Analyzed and optimized query execution plans to eliminate bottlenecks and deadlocks.
✅ Database Schema Refinement – Improved table structures, relationships, and normalization to reduce redundancy.
✅ Backup & Disaster Recovery Planning – Designed a robust backup and recovery strategy to ensure data security and integrity.
